Thames Paddle: SUPporting African Surf Mentors

Dress-up, Stand-Up and Paddle the Thames with us!

Are you a keen paddler and up for a challenge?

This July 5th join Waves for Change and stand up to SUPPORT AFRICAN SURF MENTORS and paddle the Thames with us!

Surf Mentors are the lifeblood of surf therapy in Africa and globally. They have risen up to be role models in the communities they live and serve. Rise with us on 5 July and invest in South African mentors who are leading the way in mental wellbeing through surf therapy.

Entry Fee: £100 (There are two distances that are available to be paddled!)
Start – and End Point: Kew Bridge


  • Step 1: Click ‘Start fundraising’ and create your fundraising profile, contributing to our overall goal of £15,000.
  • Step 2: Make a donation of £100.  This covers the cost of your entry, including board hire, river license, and safety gear.
  • Step 3: Share your fundraising profile online. The top fundraiser will win an exciting prize!

Two distances will be announced soon. Choose between 11km and 16km.
