W4C Founder Tim Conibear puts Delegates at the Laureus Sport For Good Summit through W4C Active Education Sessions

Waves for Change founder Tim Conibear was invited to demonstrate Waves for Change active education sessions for delegates of the 2014 Laureus Sport for Good Summit, held in Kuala Lumpur from the 13-16th October.

Joined by Laureus Academy Members including Sean Fitzpatick, Edwin Moses, Daley Thomson and Marcelle Desailly, Tim was asked to demonstrate how the W4C programme uses surfing to promote the mental health of young adults effected by emotional and psychological trauma.

Said Tim of the sessions:

‘It’s great to see W4C gaining international exposure and surfing increasingly being seen as an effective tool for mental health promotion’.
